In this game, you'll catch quite a few fish!
Equipment
- Field markers (e.g., flags, cones, or similar items)
Preparation
- Mark off the playing field (two lines facing each other, approximately 15–20 meters apart)
How to Play
- On one side of the playing field are some fishermen, and on the other side are the fish.
- The fishermen hold hands to form a net.
- Both groups move toward each other. As they do so, the fishermen try to encircle the fish with the net.
- The fish can only escape as long as the net around them hasn’t completely closed. The fish are not allowed to slip under the fishermen’s arms; they can only pass through the gap in the circle.
- A fish that is caught becomes a fisherman and thus expands the fishing net.
- The net opens up again, and the fishermen try to catch new fish.
