Carrying Bibles across the border

Materials:

-at least 120 cubes (depends on the number of players)

-sticks as many as cubes + 50 for each event

-Some sort of rope or tape to outline the field, (to be seen in the dark if played in the dark)

- lanterns if played in the dark

- marker for post #3

- at least 2 book bibles for post #2

All participants are divided into 4 teams. The playing field is 40 m wide by 80 m long. The field is divided into 2 parts. One part is North Korea where the teams are based with 1 team leader per team, and the other part is South Korea where there are min. 5 team leaders assigned to posts. For someone to make a bible, they have to go through 3 posts. Post #1 is to take a stick. This can be done by doing a certain number of exercises. At post #2, the participant has to find a certain bible verse in 30 seconds and read it aloud to the leader. Then he gets a cube, which is a book. At post #3, the participant gives the stick collected from post #1 and the book to make it into a bible. The leader makes a cross on the cube and it is now a bible. The participant then has to return to his leader at the base by going through the border (middle) which is guarded by the border guards who have to catch him. If the player is caught, his bible is confiscated and he is imprisoned in the prison that is in the middle of the border guarded by the border guards. In order to get out of jail, another player on his team has to get to the jail without being caught by the border guards and without a bible. Then the two can get out and go back to their base together without being chased, and continue playing. The game is played until the last bible crosses the border and is taken to a base.
