The theme of the messages is "the land beyond the Grand Canyon". Life with God is compared to a land where there is new life, new hope (thoughts of the Wild West). This land lies in the Wild West, behind the Grand Canyon. In the first messages, the themes will be like this, to tell the children about this life with God. To show them what is possible. In this way, the children who have been hearing about God for a long time and who are also traveling with Him will also learn new things and have the opportunity to put them into practice. I have it in my heart to design the messages in such a way that they are very simple and practical. They should contain stories from life and the Bible and then offer the children opportunities to put this into practice. In the small group times, we look at other stories in the Bible and tell our own examples and also discuss as a group how this could be put into practice in our own lives. My personal concern is that it doesn't just remain a discussion, but that the children can also apply and experience this at the camp.
