A simple way to make a fruit bowl from old newspapers/magazines. You can find more pictures and instructions here.
Material
- Newspapers or magazines
- Glue
- Stapler
- Paper clips
Procedure
- Remove sheets from newspapers/magazines.
- Fold the pages into narrow ribbons that are approx. 1.5-2 cm wide.
- Staple the ribbons together to make a long snake. (You can always lengthen it after you have already started)
- Roll the paper snake together and glue it together continuously. You can use paper clips to hold the strips together while the glue dries.
- Widen the strips towards the end, apply glue to only half of the ribbon and slowly pull upwards.
- To finish, glue the end of the ribbon well and secure with a paper clip.
- Leave the bowl to dry and remove the paper clips.
