Steve the parrot is happy with every turn more, but before Steve can fly off he must be wound up once released he works like a big flywheel. Depending on the length of the thread and the thickness of the paper, it can even fly for quite a while

Material

 • 1x round wood (20x100mm)
 • 1x black clay paper
 • div. colored paper
 • Felt tip pen (for the face)
 • Scissors or cutter
 • Drill or drill

Building instructions

Transfer the body onto black paper and cut it out.

Transfer the rest of the body parts onto colored 120 gram paper or print them out and glue them onto the body.

Finally, paint the face and cut a hole for the round wood (20x100mm) into the body and glue the round wood.

Drill holes in the round wood. Now thread the threads through the holes in the roundwood and knot them.

Note: If the parrot is to be made for several children, it is best to make a template for each body part.
