Uncle Tom's Cabin is an exciting but sad story of the slave Uncle Tom. Uncle Tom was a righteous and well kept slave who had to be sold on at the worst slave markets of the southern states due to lack of money of the owner and finally died on a cotton farm. Since the story has a sad ending, it is recommended to experience a free-found backstory in a camp:

Uncle Tom is bought out by a slave trader. He struggles to submit and decides to escape with other slaves. On the run, however, he realizes his wrongs and decides to turn back. Instead of a harsh punishment he is taken back by the slave owner - who is pleased about Uncle Tom's change and gives him a higher position. Finally, the initially hard-hearted slave owner also undergoes a change and frees the slaves - only the good Uncle Tom he sells on for economically necessary reasons and so begins the original story of Uncle Tom, which can be given to the children as an audio book to take home
