Playing football with teens, modeling and passing on faith.
Project description
With boys aged between 16 and 20, football is played every or every other Friday night. The boys all have a foreign background. The team usually consists of 3 to 4 motivated leaders. Every time there is a break during which a story from the Bible is told and through this the good news is shared.
Before the team prays for the boys and the evening. Afterwards they try to hang out with the boys, play table football, chat...
Sometimes some other action (bowling, going to a tournament...) is organized. The goal is to be real friends and so in between there is an opportunity to meet or help (computer, paperwork...).
