Submitted by ML3000 on

How to create figures from cassava shells.

Material

  • Manderines (or fresh peel)
  • small guazle molds (baking tins)
  • two sheets of white paper
  • Newspaper
  • Books

Procedure

  • Choose the manderines so that the areas are as large as possible.
  • Cut figures out of the shells using the cutting molds.
  • Press the figures by placing them between two sides of white paper, which in turn is placed between newspapers. Books are stacked on top.
  • The whole stack is left to stand for 4-5 days.
  • To allow the shells to dry better, change the paper and newspaper on the first and second day.
  • Done!
