Vision and mission

1. Juropa

The Swiss-based organisation was founded in 1999. It sees itself as a network, an initiative for training, advice and other ideas to help teenagers work across Europe

2. Vision

"A national/national and autonomous teen movement in every European country" We are looking at a young person who knows the loving, creating God personally and whose life is permeated by that love. From this experience, the young person is a positive (love, unity, peace and respect) influence on society.

3. Our mission

We will achieve our goal through the following emphases.

- Networking - building a network of national groups: Juropa aims to create national, autonomous teen-works that embed the idea in their cultural context and multiply it. Juropa also allows for transnational links.

- Promotion - spreading the idea of teen-work: Juropa exports Christian, unified/holistic and experiential teen-work to different European countries. It provides a valuable resource for many churches, denominations and local congregations in working with young people. It has reached many young people in their social, cultural and sporting development.

- coaching - advising national and local groups/organisations. With the help of volunteer experts, a wide spectrum of advice is covered.

- training - training of staff: Juropa is committed to providing high quality training for young staff - with a systematic range of courses. In this way, it imparts comprehensive know-how and detailed material
