Soap-making

Submitted by Hrisko on

Materials:

  • Soap base
  • Lavender oil
  • Food coloring
  • Lavender buds (dried)
  • Gas cooker
  • Casserole
  • Knife
  • Silicone Forms
  • Wooden spoon or whisk

Turn on the cooker to heat. You put the casserole on the stove and thin out as much as you need of the soap base. Melt over a non-slow heat stirring constantly. When the soap base is already melted, you add the lavender oil and food coloring. Stir until it is all mixed well. Add the lavender buds if desired. Once the mixture is ready pour into the silicone molds. Allow the soap molds to cool (they are ready in 5-6 minutes, but it's nice to leave them longer to harden and cool thoroughly).
