YS in the local church

1. Features

YS is an extracurricular, integrated leisure offer for the young generation, which seeks to communicate biblical values in an experiential way.

It takes place in, for and with the church. Tinwork is the responsibility of the local church and is subordinate to the leadership. This makes the local church/congregation the organiser.

2. Groups and staff structure

The classic YS age is 9-13 years, give or take 1-2 years. We strive to have children's, teen, and youth work build on each other and make the transition. Through the Risingstars concept, teens already have the opportunity to actively participate and grow in responsibility. Maturity and responsibility cannot necessarily be linked to age, so age definitions are only a guide.

The training system is adapted to the development of the staff and offers valuable training for all levels - according to responsibilities and tasks.
