Bible-reading

A devotional concept for a semester with 9 afternoons.

It deals with 9 important stations / miracles / experiences from the life of Jesus.

This game is suitable for teaching young children how to use and find their way around the Bible in a playful way.

Whether in teen or youth ministry, no leader wants to bore his or her participants with his or her devotions. Now to have exciting and fruitful devotions, you don't have to water down God's Word or talk about worldly things. It is simply a matter of interpreting the Bible.
The devotional principle "HEY,YOU SEE SO" can be a great help to us as leaders to captivate the participants with our devotions.

This devotional principle comes from the book: Ten Goals of Youth Ministry. p.98.

The game is a variation of Monopoly

This Bible quiz is very popular among teenagers. In a playful way they look for Bible passages and learn the Bible once in a special way.

Jungschi Advent Advent Calendar

As a leadership team, you could make your Jungschi children an Advent devotional calendar.

The calendar includes reading the Christmas story, encouraging words, and little contests.

Here's the template for how we gave the kids the calendar for St. Nicholas Boys' Night. Some of the template still needs to be modified.

Have fun!

Learning Bible verses by heart is a good way to deepen core messages. This can be done in a fun and playful way, so that children as well as leaders can learn Bible verses by heart without much effort or expense

Memorization should take no more than 15 minutes. With the different game variations in advance, however, it can take longer in total.

It can be used at the beginning of the devotion as an introduction or at the end of the devotion as a consolidation. The Bible verses, which are learned by heart, should always be linked in the context of a core biblical message.

A sheet of paper is cut through with a straight cut, resulting in several sections which can be used for a devotion.
